What We've Done Recently

NUEMS provided medical coverage for the annual NU Legacy March, a 50-mile foot-march from the original location of Norwich University (Norwich, VT) to its current location (Northfield, VT).

NUEMS provided continuous coverage for the four-day event. NUEMS members walked with the Cadets for the entire 50-miles!

Can't wait to do it again next year!

NUEMS took the 7 hour drive down to Maryland this February to attend the National Collegiate EMS Foundation's 2024 Conference.

The seven members who attended on behalf of NUEMS learned a lot about Emergency Medicine and what role Collegiate EMS Organizations like ours play in keeping our campuses healthy and safe!

We will also be attending the 2025 Conference in Pittsburgh!

NUEMS started working with all Rook and some Upperclassmen companies to get them all CPR Certified.

The Cadets learned about bleeding control, shock management, CPR, and Narcan administration.

NUEMS met with upper leadership for the University, including the President, Commandant of Cadets, Marine Corps Col, and more.

They were shown around the Northfield Ambulance Bay, observed some demonstrations of what NUEMS can do for patient care, and even got to try using Epi Pens themselves!
